Where have I been?

I know, I haven’t posted on this blog in months. It’s been ages. Lots has happened, and at the same time, not much has happened.
The past few months have been overwhelming with work. This week I literally worked from the time I would wake up until the time I went to bed. I then had my friend D stay by me for Shabbat and hosted a large meal last night. Plus there was drama with the gas for the stove in the apartment. It was quite a marathon week. TG, it is OVER. It was great, but I need some rest
This week was a more intense version of how the past few months have been and why I haven’t posted. For many reasons, D and I never ended up going to Greece in September. While I thought that would be a tangible goal for this year, it was not. I also may or may not have missed two months of going to the Kotel. Of course, everything was thrown for a loop this year with a certain, awesome, decision I made earlier than expected. As a result though, my growth has been stunted this year.
And, now, 2012, and 29, are quickly approaching. Will I do a 29 by 29 list? Not like this. I still have to accomplish most of the things on this list However, I am thinking of certain things I’d love to do this year. Madonna is going on another world tour, and I’d love to find the best venue for concertgoers in the world (or Europe or the US) and go see her there.
Even more exciting, one of my favorite bands, Garbage, has reunited and will be releasing a new album for the first time in several years in early 2012 and then will be going on a world tour starting in May. I’d love to see Garbage perform, preferably in NY or LA. I’m also thinking about going to London and Paris in the next few months. We’ll see which or any of these happen.
Of course, there are also things I’m planning to do in 2012 that are related to my personal growth. One thing I’m thinking of doing is having lunch with someone every day (or close to it). I could also work on being more enthusiastic. Maybe I’ll make a little list with these and a few others and post it here. Maybe not. We’ll see
