What happened? (Months 2 and 3 recap)

For those who aren’t familiar, I created a list of 28 things to do in my 28th year before I turn 28. Some of them are one time things, others daily, all of them related to me.
It’s a good thing I didn’t make something about blogging often one of the things on my list. There’s many reasons why I haven’t been blogging. The biggest one is quite a few times I will sit down and write a post and then decide that it’s too personal. Anyway, over the past few months I’ve been busy with the new job and trying to balance everything.
I’ve been to the Kotel once a month every month and went with Davina a few weeks ago.
I’ve been volunteering at least once a month.
I am trying to speak more Hebrew although still far from enough. I’ve been reading the Israeli business newspapers online in Hebrew more frequently.
I’ve been creating some excellent habits as well.
I missed going on a hike and going to a non-Anglo religious community for Shabbat in March, due to reasons that are my fault and others that were out of my hands. I stayed in Tel Aviv that shabbat instead and socialized with friends which was just as important.
I missed lighting candles one Shabbat when I went to my relatives in the Gush. I went on a hike and spoke lots of Hebrew that Shabbat.
Except for the two days I spent traveling recently, I’ve been reading for at least 10 minutes everyday.
In terms of my break, I’m no longer on a self-imposed one.
In general, these are all still just baby steps to my ultimate goals with this project.
