My happy home

During my last trip to the States, on the first night I decided to go to Barnes and Noble and buy some books related to what I was feeling at the time. My intention was to get those books and also briefly browse the best-sellers and other categories that interested me. In one section in particular there were a lot of books that I wanted to skim through and decided to sit down on the floor in that aisle with a pile of those books next to me. I ended up spending two or so hours there just reading and chilling and smiling.
During those few hours I had no care in the world. Everything was on hold and I had no responsibility or pressure to do anything. I was truly happy. I would have stayed longer but I received a call from my parents who didn’t know where I was and so I returned to the daily grind. Throughout that trip and now I continue to keep in mind that that makes me happy, since it’s important to know and to take advantage when necessary.
While there aren’t any Barnes and Nobles in Israel, another place that I also am able to reflect on things and “chill” without stressing or worrying about time is the Kotel (the Western Wall). For the past few weeks I have been telling almost everyone I’ve spoken to how I haven’t been there in a month and half and how I really want to go. As with Barnes and Noble in the States, the Kotel makes me truly happy. That is why going there once a month is included as one of the 28 goals.
